My name is Alex, and I am currently a 20 year old student studying Atmospheric and Oceanic Science at the University of Maryland.
Some Background:
I’ve always been fascinated by weather, for as long as I can remember. It wasn’t until I grew older, that I began to understand our human impact on the environment. My coursework at Maryland has brought the various aspects of climate change into my focus, and has fueled my aspirations to spread as much accurate information about climate change as possible, particularly to those unfamiliar with the issue. I firmly believe climate change is not just a scientific issue, but a moral obligation we all owe to one another, as individuals part of a global community, as we are all living on the very same planet.
